After two years without music festivals and with all the clubs closed, we wanted to share a message of optimism for what is to come in 2022. The most ambitious edition of Primavera Sound ever and with CUPRA as main sponsor.
The campaign stars flamenco singer María José Llergo. We see her singing in reverse in the emblematic Sala Apolo, which has been empty for more than two years now. A way of symbolising the standstill that live music has suffered during the pandemic.
And the line-up starts with Maria José Llergo reciting the festival's headliners in reverse while driving, also in reverse, the electric CUPRA Born. She stops for a moment to gain and impulse and come back with more power driving and reciting the line-up forwards. Until she reaches the Forum of Barcelona, one of the most emblematic places of the Primavera Sound.
